The online ordering system now used is unique to DW Photography, as the software application that produces these customer web albums has been developed & written by myself.

The advantages to the customer are ease of use, you simply input the username & password that you are provided with (Username & password are album pacific, this means you can hand this out to any of your friends or relatives) The system automatically directs you through to the relevant album menu.

Once you have clicked on the web album button a screen similar to the one on the left will open.

Another key feature to the web album is the category drop down list, this enables each web album to have a limitless amount of images, each shown at a decent size whilst keeping the page load speed reasonably fast. When opened the first category automatically loads, not only does this improve the performance of the web album it also means that if there is a particular image you need to find you can locate it very quickly. to order a print you simply select the size, qty & then click on buy. When you have finnished selecting your prints or to view the items you have in your basket, click on the button with the basket symbol. Once you have confirmed your order on the basket page you will notice that the address prefix changes from http to https & a padlock will show in the bottom of your browser this signifies that you have been routed through to a special secure server, this is equipped with 128 bit SSL (secure socket layer) encrypted pages, in simple terms this is the same type of security that banks use for online transactions & means this is totally safe to input your details. As an extra precaution DW Photography does not have access to or store your card deatils on the server, i simply get provided with an authorisation code, order No & the amount it is for by the online card processing company this ensures your complete on line safety.
